Our new Chief Financial Officer, Doug Jobe, grew up on a 100-acre horse farm just north of Greensboro, NC. His rural roots and farm background helped strengthen a strong work ethic and loyal mindset. Doug’s first real job was working in a retail store as a merchandiser at an outlet of the regional paper distribution company that his father ran. After attending Davidson College, Doug spent a few years in banking for what today is Bank of America and then proceeded to go to Dartmouth College for his MBA.

After school, Doug followed his roots back to the distribution industry in finance roles for several large companies such as Frito-Lay, PepsiCo, Dr Pepper Snapple, and Performance Food Group. Doug’s finance focus has primarily been how to use analytics and information to enable a salesforce to deliver results for its customers beyond the company’s and customers’ expectations.

Doug resides in Midlothian, Virginia with his wife of 30 years, Lori. They have 3 adult children who now reside in the Carolinas. Haley is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Duke University. Alex is working as an operation management trainee (focusing on supply chain) for Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors in Charlotte, NC. And Katie is currently a junior at Furman University in Greenville, SC.

Doug enjoys his college basketball and baseball, especially following his Davidson Wildcats. And when Lori and Doug can get away, they are either in the NC mountains near Lori’s family in the Hickory/Conover area or at the coast in Pawleys Island, SC, visiting Doug’s parents.
